Mohammed bin Rashid receives Chairman of Standard Chartered and CEO of Barclays Bank

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received today at DIFC, José Viñals, chairman of Standard Chartered Bank, as the bank’s board held its meeting for the first time in Dubai.

Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Deputy Ruler of Dubai HH Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the meeting.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the chairman in Dubai, and said that the bank enjoys excellent logistics facilities to operate in the UAE.

In another meeting, Sheikh Mohammed received CEO of Barclays Bank Jes Staley and the accompanying delegation. His Highness welcomed the guests, and said that Dubai opens its door to all investors and provides them with conducive environment to conduct their business.

The meetings were also attended by Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Future Mohammed H.E. Abdullah Al Gergawi, Director General of HH The Ruler's Court H.E. Mohammed Al Shaibani, and Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, and Major General Talal Hamid Belhoul Al Falassi, along with a number of senior officials.
