Mohammed bin Rashid tours Dubai schools on start of new academic year

Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured a number of schools in the emirate of Dubai as hundreds of thousands of students across the UAE returned to schools on the start of the 2017-2018 academic year.
 
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed's first stop was Al Maktoum Primary School for Boys, where he interacted with the children and listened to a briefing on the facilities and activities the school provides for its students.
 
Sheikh Mohammed then visited the Jumeirah Model School for Girls and inspected some of the classes for students with special needs.
 
During the tour, Sheikh Mohammed underlined the essential role played by schools in spreading knowledge, being key to the advancement of nations. His Highness affirmed the importance of collaboration between schools and parents to help students get the best out of their educational curricula.
 
Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Minister of State for Public Education H.E. Jameela bint Salem Al Muhairi, along with Director of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, and a number of top executives at Dubai education sector.
