Mohammed bin Rashid receives President of Latvia

Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received today at Zabeel Palace, Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis.

Dubai Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Deputy Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also attended the reception.

Sheikh Mohammed and Vejonis reviewed bilateral relations between the UAE and Latvia and ways to enhance them in joint fields between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Vejonis’ visit to the UAE. HH stressed the UAE's keenness on developing ties with Latvia.

He also wished that relations would witness more development and progress in various domains.

Vejonis emphasized his country's desire to boost cooperation in various domains. He also praised the UAE's pioneering stature at the regional and global arenas.

Present at the meeting were Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for International Co-operation Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, and Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, and and Brigadier Talal Humaid Abdullah Belhoul, along with the accompanied delegation.
